In a quest to boost her low self esteem, Hope Donahue turned to altering her appearance through cosmetic surgery. By the age of 27 she had undergone over a dozen cosmetic procedures. Her addiction to surgery led to depression, alienation from friends and family, theft and bankruptcy. Here she tells her story.
