This book is a military history of the Western Campaign from D-Day in June 1944 to the fall of Berlin in May 1945. It covers all the battles and campaigns, including Villers-Bocage, Operation 'Market Garden' and Operation Dragoon/Anvil, where the Allies landed in southern France in August 1944.
