The Flying Years

Contains an account of what post war RAF training and service was like. This book follows the author's career from his initial officer and flying training at RAFC Cranwell and describes service life in the air and on the ground. It provides a picture of the experiences of a typical GD officer serving at Gan in the Indian Ocean and Singapore.
